Fairfax Ice Arena is open for public ice skating, freestyle sessions, group lessons and hockey.

The following are preventative measures we are taking and are requiring of our patrons:

  • Walk-ins are now welcome for our public ice skating sessions.

  • Effective July 1, 2021, wearing a face covering at the Fairfax Ice Arena is optional for fully vaccinated people. Wearing a face covering on and off the ice is required if you have not been fully vaccinated, and for our unvaccinated guests under 12.

  • Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before you skate and leave no later than 15 minutes after you skate

  • To minimize crowds inside the facility, we encourage patrons who are waiting on their skaters to limit their time inside the facility.

  • As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, PLEASE STAY HOME if you are feeling ill in any way.

Measures we are taking:

  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces like door handles, tables and computers.

  • Ensuring hand soap and hand sanitizers are readily available and filled. Hand sanitizing stations are available at the arena entrance, and at the skate rental counter.

  • Placing signage reminding everyone to frequently and thoroughly wash their hands and social distance.

Thank you for your continued support.
We look forward to seeing you in the near future.
