Public skate hours are the designated times open to general public. Purchase your public skate admission and skate rental in-person at the box office. 

​​​​​​Fairfax Ice Arena is an indoor ice rink located in Fairfax, Virginia, and is open all year round. Inspired by the Winter Olympic games to try ice skating? Ice skate during one of our daily Public Skate sessions and Holiday Public Skate sessions. Learn to ice skate in our Fairfax Ice Arena Skating School group lesson program for beginners to advanced levels for kids, teens and adults. High-level recreational and competitive skaters can train for their testing and competitions during our many daily, level-specific Freestyle sessions. Play hockey in our Fairfax Hockey League, our adult hockey league. Visit our Pro Shop for skate equipment and services. We look forward to seeing you on the ice and helping you on your skating journey!

June 20: Summer schedules begin for public skate, Monday group lesson time changes, and freestyle sessions​

This summer, escape the heat, keep cool and stay active. Register now for group ice skating classes. ​Classes are grouped based on age and skill level. We offer classes all year round for
