COMING SOON: 2021 Summer Training Center

June 14–August 20

Fairfax Ice Arena is looking forward to welcoming skaters to our 48th annual Summer Training Center. We are offering freestyle sessions, high performance specialty sessions, and additional tools such as jumping harnesses, off-ice conditioning, awards and test sessions to aid skaters in their development. More information and registration will be available late April.

WE ARE OPEN

Fairfax Ice Arena is open for public skating, freestyle sessions, group lessons and pick-up hockey. The Pro Shop is open by appointment only.

The following are preventative measures we are taking and are requiring of our patrons:

  • You must have a reservation or appointment to enter the facility. Public skating sessions, freestyle sessions and group lessons reservations can be made online and Pro Shop appointments can be scheduled by emailing proshop@fairfaxicearena.com.

  • Face masks properly covering the nose and mouth are required while inside the facility on and off the ice.

  • Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before you skate and leave no later than 15 minutes after you skate

  • To minimize crowds inside the facility, no spectators are allowed unless you are accompanying a minor and people with disabilities. Parents, guardians and caretakers may enter the facility to drop-off, pick-up and watch. We are asking parents, guardians and caretakers to limit their time in the facility by staying in their vehicles while their skater is participating in public skating, freestyle, group lesson or off-ice training.

  • As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, PLEASE STAY HOME if you are feeling ill in any way.

Measures we are taking:

  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces like door handles, tables and computers.

  • Ensuring hand soap and hand sanitizers are readily available and filled. Hand sanitizing stations are available at the arena entrance, and at the skate rental desk.

  • Placing signage reminding everyone to frequently and thoroughly wash their hands and social distance.

  • Required face coverings for all employees and patrons inside the facility, on and off the ice.

Thank you for all of your support.
We look forward to seeing you skating in the near future.
