7:00-7:15 AM: CHECK-IN

7:15-7:30 AM: ON-ICE WARM-UP (15-30 minutes)
You must be checked-in before stepping out on the ice. You may step on the ice for your warm-up as early as 7:00 AM if you are checked-in. Warm up is on your own. Please be sure to warm up your stroking and jumps. Coaches Ilya and Audrey will be observing skaters during warm-up.

7:30-7:40 AM: INTRODUCTION(10 minutes)

7:40-8:00 AM: EDGE/STROKING (20 minutes)

8:00-8:40 AM: SKATING SKILLS (40 minutes)

8:40-8:55 AM: ICE CUT

8:55-9:35 AM: JUMPS (40 minutes)

9:35-10:15 AM: SPINS (40 minutes)

10:15-1030 AM: ICE CUT

10:30-11:10 AM: FREESTYLE SESSION (40 minutes)

Skate the freestyle session on your own. This session does NOT INCLUDE instruction with Coaches Ilya and Audrey. You may book a private lesson with a Fairfax Ice Arena coach.

11:10-11:50 AM: FREESTYLE SESSION(40 minutes)

This will be a one day figure skating seminar covering skating skills, technique, and on-ice presence and presentation. Get a better understanding of connecting elements, develop and strengthen your skating skills with a focus on glide, flow, power and edge control. Skaters will also learn the importance of conveying their presence, character and emotion in their skating to captivate their audience.
