The Fairfax Hockey League is for beginner to advanced ice hockey players ages 18 and up. We offer two seasons and eight divisions. The season consists of 20 games plus playoff games. The league fee is nonrefundable for any reason including but not limited to injuries and suspensions. In the case of injuries, if a replacement player is available, a partial refund will be made.

Pick-Up Hockey

Fridays, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Last pick-up hockey for the spring season will be on Friday, June 14, 2024

We offer pick-up hockey for players ages 18 and up during our fall, winter and spring season. Come out and play in our adult pick-up hockey session. It's a great way to get in some practice games, and meet up with local hockey players and Fairfax Hockey League players. Space is limited. Pick-up Hockey is not available during our summer season.

Required equipment: Full gear including a full face mask helmet is required.
You must register online and check-in at the Lesson Office before getting on the ice.

Learn to Play Hockey

Begin with learning basic skating skills in our group lessons and then take our hockey clinic. After completing a hockey clinic, sign up for our adult hockey league novice team and get some practice games in during our adult pick-up hockey sessions. Call us at (703) 323-1132 or visit us at the lesson office for more information.

Hockey clinic is available for skaters ages 7 – 13, and 14 & up who have passed Beta level skating.

Novice: Players in this level should have at least completed our ice hockey clinic. Coaches will be provided for Novice teams.
