3779 Pickett Road, Fairfax, VA 22031
Check-in and check-out: A parent, guardian or caretaker will be required to sign their camp skaters in and out of camp each day at the Lessons Office located in the lobby area.
Supervision: Skating Director Eric Tsai and dedicated camp staff will be on-site to supervise camp skaters. Parents, guardians or caretakers are welcome to stay to watch their student. We ask all of our customers in the facility to not stand in front of the entrances to the ice rink, and to please not interrupt coaches and students who are on and off the ice during their class times.
What to wear: Gloves; a jacket; warm clothing that are easy to move in and keep you dry (snow pants are great for beginners if you have one); and thin or medium weight long socks. Dressing in layers is recommended. You may bring your own helmets, and knee and elbow pads without an outer plastic shell. Students in beginner classes do spend some time sitting and kneeling on the ice, and touching the ice.
Skate fit: Skates come in full sizes only and fit a half to a full size smaller than your shoe size. Skates should fit snug and tied tightly so the ankle is supported.
What to bring: Extra snacks, a reusable water bottle, a change of clothes for warm weather and sneakers.
Effective July 1, 2021, wearing a face covering at the Fairfax Ice Arena will be optional for fully vaccinated people. We require wearing a face covering on and off the ice if you have not been fully vaccinated. Face coverings on and off the ice are still required for our unvaccinated guests under 12.
