We are Celebrating our 50th season
Fairfax Ice Arena is celebrating its 50th season from August 27, 2022 – August 19, 2023.
Fairfax Ice Arena opened its doors on March 17, 1973. We are the first indoor, all year-round ice skating rink facility in Virginia, in the south and in the Washington, DC area.
It was founded by Eileen Weisiger, a successful business woman, serial entrepreneur, fashion designer, artist, model, and mother. Eileen Weisiger and her family are instrumental in bringing recreational ice skating, and programs for competitive figure skating and ice hockey in the region.
